WELCOME TO THE LEARN TO PLAY HOCKEY
Do you have a little one that wants to learn how to skate and eventually play hockey? Enroll in the LumberYard's Learn to Play Hockey program!
This program is designed to get them on track to becoming a hockey player! Learn to Play Hockey! will teach kids how to skate in their hockey skates, with a stick at hand, and in their full equipment. Starting their skating classes in full equipment will give them a jump start in being a hockey player. Not only is it safer and easier to fall with equipment on, it also gets them used to the weight and vision early, and it starts them ahead of their peers for their upcoming hockey careers!
DROP IN: $25 PER SESSION
**We will allow drop ins if a camp is not full, or we have a skater absent. Please call the LumberYard for availability.
DETAILS:
Your hockey players must be at least 3 years or older and must have full gear to participate.
Parents are welcome to watch or be on the ice with their player but must wear a helmet and skates on the ice.

- Skates
- Helmet
- Gloves
- Shin pads
- Breezers
- Elbow pads
- Shoulder pads (optional)
- Stick
REFUND POLICY
REFUND POLICY You will be refunded 100% minus a $25.00 processing fee per session or class cancelled if you request a refund over 60 days from the start of program. You will be refunded 50% minus a $25.00 processing fee per session or class cancelled if you request a refund between 30 and 60 days. No refunds if request is less than 30 days from start of program. NOTE: If we have someone on a wait list who is able to fill your child's spot, we will issue a refund minus a $25.00 processing fee per session or class cancelled.
