**We will allow drop ins if a camp is not full, or we have a skater absent. Please call the LumberYard for availability.

Our facility will be closed with no training sessions from Monday, June 30 through Thursday, July 3. We will reopen for training on Monday, July 7.

Our comprehensive program is specially designed to lay the foundation for budding hockey stars. Our program is specially designed to introduce children to the basics of skating in hockey skates, using a stick, and becoming comfortable in full equipment. By starting with gear, we make falling safer and help kids adjust to the weight and feel of their equipment, giving them a head start for future hockey success. Here's what you can expect:

Program Overview:

  • Skating Skills: Your child will learn the fundamentals of skating, gradually building confidence and agility on the ice.
  • Introduction to Hockey Equipment: From day one, participants will skate in full hockey gear, providing a safe and immersive experience.
  • Stick Handling: Kids will get hands-on experience with a hockey stick, mastering basic stick handling techniques.
  • Small Group Instruction: Our expert coaches provide personalized guidance in small group settings, ensuring individual attention and progress.

While we’re excited to see your child participate in multiple Learn to Play Hockey sessions, please be aware that we’re unable to offer a discount for registering for more than one session.


DETAILS:

We're thrilled to have your child enrolled in our Learn to Play Hockey program! As we gear up for an exciting journey on the ice, we want to ensure everyone is prepared for a safe and enjoyable experience.

Please note the following important requirements for participation:

  • Age Requirement: Hockey players must be at least 3 years old to participate in the program.
  • Gear Requirement: Full hockey gear is mandatory for all participants. This includes helmets, pads, gloves, skates, and sticks.
  • Parental Supervision: Parents are welcome to watch their child's progress from the sidelines or join them on the ice. However, if you choose to be on the ice, please ensure you are wearing a helmet and skates for safety.

EQUIPMENT NEEDED:

For those diving into the world of hockey, having the right equipment is crucial for both safety and enjoyment on the ice. Here's a checklist of the essential gear needed:

  • Skates
  • Helmet
  • Gloves
  • Shin Pads
  • Breezers
  • Elbow Pads
  • Shoulder Pads (Optional)
  • Stick

By ensuring your child has all the necessary equipment, you're setting them up for a safe and enjoyable hockey experience. REFUND POLICY

REFUND POLICY You will be refunded 100% minus a $25.00 processing fee per session or class cancelled if you request a refund over 60 days from the start of program. You will be refunded 50% minus a $25.00 processing fee per session or class cancelled if you request a refund between 30 and 60 days. No refunds if request is less than 30 days from start of program. NOTE: If we have someone on a wait list who is able to fill your child's spot, we will issue a refund minus a $25.00 processing fee per session or class cancelled.
